Mindful Powers™ offers a comprehensive approach to teaching and practicing mindfulness to support children in effectively managing stress. This app has gained recognition for its commitment to prioritizing children's well-being, emphasizing play as a powerful tool for learning. With a focus on early and middle childhood, Mindful Powers™ equips young minds with essential skills, helping them establish a healthier relationship with life, stress, and anxiety.

Designed to seamlessly integrate into a child's daily routine, Mindful Powers™ is simple, easy to use, and enjoyable. Its two key features include:

 <li>Mindful Play: Through a series of 10 progressive and interactive voice-guided sessions, children learn the powers of mindfulness. Each lesson begins by soothing their very own Flibbertigibbet™, who is in an agitated state, with the touch of their finger. This sensory-based interaction triggers the body's rest and digest response, fostering relaxation and enhancing focus.</li>
 
 <li>Focus Time: The Flibbertigibbet™ self-set timer helps children establish mental parameters around a given task by applying focused time until completion. During this time, Mindful Powers™ discourages distractions, allowing children to concentrate on their tasks.</li>
</ul>

By engaging with Mindful Powers™, children can develop valuable skills including calmness and relaxation, stress and anxiety reduction, concentration and focus, navigating big emotions, and fostering positive relationships.

The content and lessons integrated into Mindful Powers™ have been developed in consultation with Dr. Roger Vilardaga, a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor in Duke University's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

It is important to note that Mindful Powers™ is not intended to clinically treat children with behavioral and/or emotional challenges.

Please be aware that In-App Purchases are not compatible with Family Sharing. If you have the app installed on multiple devices, you must be signed into iTunes with the account that made the initial purchase to carry over your Story Pack In-App Purchases. Alternatively, you have the option of downloading the paid version, Mindful Powers™ edu, which is compatible with Family Sharing and does not include in-app purchases.
